Rose (Michel) Michel

Rose Michel, a resident of Malden, passed away on Wednesday, April 1st, in the Cambridge Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 86.  Rose was born in Haiti in 1938, the daughter of  Antoine Michel and Roselina Bertil.  She was raised and educated in Haiti.  Rose had worked for many years as a tailor.  She was a quiet person who prided herself in taking care of her home and family.

She is survived my her children,  Alta  Obas Amicy,  Edna  Obas, Dilna Obas, Marie Obas Charles, Francois  Obas and  Farah Ashkar 

Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Melrose, 561 Main St, Melrose on Saturday, May 25th, at 9 AM.  Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery,  175 Broadway Malden, Ma

Visitation will be held at the Weir Funeral Home, 144 Salem ST, Malden on Friday, May 24th, from 6p – 9 PM.
