Shannon Satterwhite

Shannon Satterwhite, a resident of Lynn, passed away on August 4, 2023, following a long illness. Ms. Satterwhite was born to parents Vernon Satterwhite and Joan Satterwhite (nee Chinnery) on April 2, 1951, and lived her early years in San Antonio, Texas. Later moving to Wellington, New Zealand, she graduated from Lower Hutt High School before moving to Sydney, Australia, and eventually settling north of Boston. Shannon was a long-time employee of AARP, working in the human resources division, and was a loving member of the communities of both Salem and Lynn.

Shannon is survived by her sister, Judy Satterwhite of Wellington, New Zealand; brother, Bruce Satterwhite of Waikanae, New Zealand; nieces Laurielle Satterwhite of Waikanae, New Zealand, Samantha Satterwhite, of Nelson, New Zealand, and Rebecca Taucher of Auckland, New Zealand; and many other family and friends.

\A memorial service will be held at Weir Mac Cuish Family Funeral Home in Malden, Massachusetts, on September 25, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. local time.
