Shirley Ann DeVlaminck
Shirley Ann (DeHetre) DeVlaminck, 74, of Hampton NH, formerly of Las Vegas and Malden, died Monday, January 16, 2012 her home, with her loving family by her side.
She was born July of 1937 in Malden, Massachusetts the daughter of Ernest and Alma (Ford) DeHetre. Shirley was raised and educated in Malden. After graduating from Malden High with the Class of 1955 she took employment with the Federal Government in the Department of Transportation located in Cambridge. She worked there as a purchaser, and retired as Senior Purchaser 15 years ago. Shirley and her husband moved to Las Vegas and lived there for many years before returning to New England. They have been living in Hampton, NH for the past 6 years.
She is survived by her husband David DeVlaminck, her sister, Yvonne Basile of Long Island, NY, and her brothers, Charles DeHetre of SC, Arthur DeHetre of Byfield, and Paul DeHetre of Malden, MA.
Shirley was preceded in death by her children, Linda Graham and Ronald Graham, and her parents, Ernest and Alma DeHeter.
Funeral services will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Friday, Jan 20th, at 10:00AM. Interment to follow in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Jan 19th, from 4-8PM.
