Wilson Baptiste, a native of Haiti who recently moved to Malden, passed away in his home at the age of 80. Wilson was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti, in 1942, the son of Dieudone and Clermercie Baptiste. He was raised and educated in Haiti and worked as a Cultivator there. After his marriage to Clairemise Lespinasse, the two settled down to raise their 6 children. Wilson and his wife moved to the United States. They lived in Miami for many years before moving to Malden.
He is survived by his wife Clermercie, his children, Roseberlyne Baptiste, Mikerlyne Baptiste, Fabienne Baptiste Nazaire, Marie Perrette Baptiste, Bazelais Baptiste, Wideline Baptiste, and Dovensky Baptiste, his grandchildren, Sabrina Baptiste, Ashley Nazaire, Lunchy Eloi, Pamela Augustin Baptiste, Sephora Cadet, and Victoria Augustin Baptiste, and his great-grandchildren, Nhora, Ashley, Samiel, Bradley, Brian, Kelly, and Ronaldo.
Public viewing and funeral service will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden from 9 am to 11 am, on Friday, August 4th.
